Rep. Waxman Welcomes Federal Transit Administration Grants for Clean Fuel Buses in Los Angeles

"I welcome today’s Federal Transit Administration announcement of grants for clean fuel buses for the Los Angeles area.  I strongly supported the grant applications by Los Angeles County MTA, which will receive $10 million to replace older equipment, and Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus, which will receive $2 million.  Los Angeles is proud to lead the nation in clean fuel transit technologies.  These grants will be put to good use to keep up the reliability of our transit systems while advancing clean air and livability for our region."
