Rep. Waxman Sends a Letter Urging Maximum Protection of Alaskan Wilderness and Wildlife

Rep. Waxman joined with other concerned members of Congress in sending a letter to Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar in support of an alternative Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) for National Petroleum Reserve- Alaska (NPRA) which requires “maximum protection” for ecologically-sensitive regions and birthing grounds in Alaska.
